PROJECT
The Long Road is a solo ultra-running film shot entirely by the athlete and a single filmmaker over the course of a 200-mile self-supported run across the Scottish Highlands. With no support crew and minimal equipment, the production stripped away every layer of production polish to reveal the raw human experience of extreme endurance. The film uses long, unbroken takes and natural sound to create an almost meditative experience that mirrors the runner's internal journey.
